The goal of Susan Ashurst's life journey is to convey the harmony of nature using color and light. Susan views each painting as a question, in which some subtle truth is to be explored. With each question asked, the larger truth of nature is exposed to additional light. Susan received a Bachelors of Fine Arts from the University of Utah. Her personal philosophy can be summed up in quote from Degas, "Art is not what you see, but what you make other see." Sharing a visual experience is a challenging task, and at the point Susan know that she is continuing to grow in her quest. It is not the answer but quest which provides the mommentum in her art.
